Complaints & feedback
Tell us when something is wrong — and when something is right
Maxi-Mize welcomes complaints, concerns and feedback because they help us improve the quality and safety of our services. You will never be treated differently for raising something with us.
Making a complaint
Complaints and concerns can be sent directly to our complaints inbox, or raised by telephone with the office.

Sharing feedback
Compliments, suggestions and general feedback are just as valuable. They tell us what is working and where we could do better.

How we handle a complaint
- 01
Raise the concern
Tell us what has happened, by email, telephone or in person. You can ask a relative, friend or advocate to raise it on your behalf.
- 02
Acknowledge the complaint
We record the complaint and acknowledge it, confirming who will be handling it and how we will keep you updated.
- 03
Investigate
We gather the relevant facts — records, statements and accounts from those involved — proportionately and fairly.
- 04
Respond
We provide a written response setting out our findings, any action taken and what happens next.
- 05
Learn and improve
Findings feed into training, supervision, policy and practice so that the same issue is less likely to recur.
- 06
Escalation where appropriate
If you remain dissatisfied, we will explain the options available to you, including escalating to the relevant external body.
We aim to acknowledge and respond to complaints promptly and will confirm expected timescales when we acknowledge your complaint. Full details are set out in our complaints policy, which is available on request.
